On October 21, the laboratory staff took part in the International Scientific Conference "Priority directions of use of Gymnospermae in modern conditions" (arboretum "Alexandria", Bila Tserkva, Ukraine). Due to the current epidemiological situation, the event was held remotely as online conference.

Long-time dendrochronological expedition

2020 September 14-18, staff of the laboratory conducted a research expedition to the vicinity of the village Bolshaya Murta in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (100 km north-east of the Krasnoyarsk city) jointly with colleagues from Siberian Federal University and V.N. Sukachev Institute of Forest.

The first large expedition of the field season 2020: Ergaki

Laboratory staff led by E.A. Babushkina and D.F. Zhirnova took part in an expedition on the territory of the Natural Park “Ergaki” on August 10–13 2020 as part of the investigation of climate change impact on the mountain forests of Southern Siberia.

New study published

Obtained in our laboratory results of the analysis of small fluctuations in the cellular structure of conifer tree rings, allowing a better understanding of its formation processes, are published in the international journal PLoS ONE.
