On December 1, 2020, within the framework of the XV All-Russian Festival of Youth Science Nauka0+, in Khakassia in an online format (Zoom conference), popular science lectures on various topics were held: from history to physics, from relevant at the moment medicine to ecology. Among the audience (about 100 people), there were schoolchildren, students and young scientists.
Senior Researcher of our laboratory Belokopytova Liliana took part in this event with a lecture "What trees are telling about?", in which she spoke in simple words about tree rings, their growth and the information they contain, about the basics of dendrochronology and dendroecology, as well as about laboratory. After that, the listeners asked questions, from the most elementary to quite professional, to which they received comprehensive answers.
