Successful defence of PhD SibFU in Ecology

Defence of the PhD SibFU degree in ecology of the senior researcher Belokopytova Liliana (22 Nov 2017) was successful. In the opinion of Olga Grigorieva (head of the Department for Postgraduate Studies, Doctoral Studies and the Attestation of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel of SibFU), the defence was characterized by intensive and long discussion of the presented research. In total, four defences of this academic degree were held at the Siberian Federal University in 2017, including one in the technical field and two in physics.

This is a very significant event for the Khakass Technical Institute of Siberian Federal University and for Khakassia as a whole, because it is the first defence of this international degree in the region, confirming the contribution of the local researchers to the world science.

During the defence, a video was recorded, which according to the regulations was broadcasted on-line in real time. Later this video will also be posted on the SibFU website in the section "PhD Programs at SibFU".

The following members of the Dissertation Board were present: Evgene Vaganov (Siberian Federal University, Chairman of the Board), Patrick Fonti (Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research), Alan Crivellaro (University of Padova, Italy), Marina Fonti (Institute of Forest SB RAS, Krasnoyarsk), Denis Rogozin (Institute of Biophysics SB RAS, Krasnoyarsk), Vladimir Shishov (Siberian Federal University) and Elena Babushkina (KhTI SibFU, research supervisor).
