Participation in the international conference

The 4th International Electronic Conference on Forests was held on September 24-26, 2024. This event was organized by the international scientific publisher MDPI, many of whose journals have high metrics and are included in the first quartile of the Web of Science and Scopus databases.
The section “Forest Ecology and Management” was attended by postgraduate students conducting their research activities at the Scientific-Educational Laboratory “Dendroecology and Ecological Monitoring”.
– Dmitry Dergunov gave an online oral presentation in English “Quantitative wood anatomy of Scots pine over 270 years in the foothills of the Western Sayan, Siberia” – https://sciforum.net/paper/view/18426.
– Timofey Khudykh presented to the international community a poster “New methods in digital wood anatomy: the automatization of pixel-contrast densitometry and its application across angiosperms” – https://sciforum.net/paper/view/18305.
The results of these studies, carried out by the laboratory’s research team, were previously published in leading scientific journals.
