International Summer School "Tree Rings, Climate, Natural Resources, and Human Interaction"

For the second time, the organizers of the International Summer School "Tree Rings, Climate, Natural Resources, and Human Interaction" have chosen the Republic of Khakassia as the venue for the next school. With the support of the Association for Tree-Ring Research, V.N. Sukachev Institute of Forest (Krasnoyarsk), RusHydro and in conjunction with the University of Arizona (ASU), Siberian Federal University (SibFU) and National Park "Shushensky Bor" the Khakas Technical Institute will be one of the organizers of the school, scheduled for August 12-24, 2018. The course is structured for participants who have an interest in learning the applications of Dendrochronology and have a preliminary background in the statistic. The language of the course is English. The instructors and coordinators of the school will be one of the leading researchers in the field of studying tree-rings: Prof. Ramzi Tochan (ASU), Prof. David Meko (ASU), Prof. Eugene A. Vaganov (SibFU), Prof. Vladimir V. Shishov (SibFU), Prof. Irina V. Sviderskaya (SibFU), Prof. Elena A. Babushkina (KhTI, SibFU).
