International online seminar “Specification of the preparation of anatomical wood microsections”

On the 3th of November, 2018, researchers of the Khakass Tree Ring Research Laboratory organized and conducted an online seminar with international participation "Specification of the preparation of anatomical wood microsections" with the participation of colleagues from the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL (Switzerland, Birmensdorf) and the Siberian Federal University (Russia, Krasnoyarsk). The seminar was conducted via Skype. The event lasted almost 4 hours, during which the seminar participants discussed new methods and approaches in the preparation of micro microsections from cores of living trees, as well as new modern promising directions in this area of research. The researchers of the Khakass Tree Ring Research Laboratory are grateful to Marina Fonti for her assistance in conducting and organizing the seminar.
